i got the halo 4 360 back in the day and fell in love with the armor. What I want to know is if Fotus is exclusive again to console buyers or will it be able in the packs. Has anyone heard anything about this?
Holmes has said that all armours are unlock able in-game via REQs. No exclusives, although some are quite rare. We’ve not seen or heard about Fotus yet.
I imagine it will not be in REQ packs, but that is mere speculation. I am aware of Holmes statement, but I don’t think helioskrill will be in REQ either.

I see… Though with Helioskrill, that is a armor unlocked by achievements. I just hope Mr. Holmes will cover that and say that his previous statement still stands.
There will be no exclusives 
all content can be unlocked, the pre order or dlc that may have just unlock it (thru achievements or REQ packs) for you to have on day one.

I really freakin hope you can get it in normal REQ packs (though SUPER rare). I bought the Xbox One on Day 1 2013, and I shouldn’t lose out on exclusive items just because I was an early adopter and don’t want to buy a whole new $500 console. That’s simply a fan disservice.

Well, actually he said that all preorders are available via REQ packs. Helioskrill had better not be available via RNG.
As for Fotus, I believe it is available in REQ packs. The Console description that mentions it (which granted, may not be correct) says that the console comes with the digital version of the game and the Warzone REQ bundle that includes 14 premier REQ packs, Fotus armor and a special emblem
Now, what that says is that the Warzone REQ bundle (also in the digital deluxe and the le/lce) includes the Fotus armor and emblem, not that the console includes the emblem. That said, it could be wrong.
Personally, I’m really irritated that they brought Fotus back, as I think it looks terrible, and all the other armors they’ve shown have a more modernized, military look. So do all the changes to guns. I forgave them all that because it looked like they were making the UNSC more unified (helioskrill is still out there, but eh… I guess it’s canonicalish and it is a reward). However, then they brought back the stupid unicorn helmet. So now I’m really annoyed about customization again.
So I’ve been looking around and can’t find a description that lists FOTUS specifically. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Until I see it for myself I’ll be optimistic that 343 would never do something like bring back FOTUS. If I’m going to get kicked in the nuts with some bad news I’d rather just get it over with asap.
