Okay, we need to bring a calm to this sudden riot of confusion…
THE REAL QUESTION AT HAND IS THE EXCLUSIVITY OF THIS ARMOR.
As of 9/19/12, Bs Angel clarified the contents of the limited editions of Halo 4.

As of NOW, specifically speculation started yesterday when the descriptions of the Halo 4 console changed, to this:
“• Custom downloadable content: Receive a code to download Halo 4 content from Xbox LIVE, including unique armor skin, unique weapon skin, unique emblem, matching avatar armor, and unique avatar prop.”

From: GameStop description
From: Amazon description
From: Best Buy description
Each now have a similar description, all now saying that it contains a unique armor skin rather than a unique armor as it used to say.
If you are buying the console and worried if you are getting Fotus armor or not? Do not be.
No matter what, you are getting Fotus armor. With the recent change of the contents of the Halo 4 console from retailers, it now seems you will be getting an exclusively skinned version of Fotus, rather than the armor being entirely exclusive.
With this change, it seems that this skin will only set you apart from anyone who has to play their way to get it.
Now, if this recently changed information as to what comes with the console is true, then that above will be how it works. That truly sucks for all the people expecting to have a truly exclusive item. We now will just be getting a variation.
**^^^**To people that argue that statement by saying that there is no variations of Fotus…think about this: Yes, in the PAX build there was no variations but if this new information in correct, they must have altered that since then? Always a possibility.
But, still, NOBODY has given any official answers to this issue!
This needs to be cleaned up, and very soon.
I hope this helps clear confusion. Please provide more information below by commenting if you come by any new news on this issue.
Just what it seems like to me.
