So my brother and I pooled out money to get the Halo 4 console, and with it the FOTUS armour. He signed in first, as I was at work, but now, I can’t use the DLC content for the armour unless he is signed in as Player 1, can I get some help with fixing this?
Sorry but the DLC “Fotus” Armor is now locked to his account and his account only. You can still use it but like you said, your brother needs to be player 1.
That is absolutely ridiculous on their part, it should be console locked! Although thanks for the heads up.
It should be, but that’s microsofts fault not 343’s. DRM and all that jazz.

False. An update should have already fixed this issue. OP, make sure you have downloaded the latest update for the game.

He should be able to use it on any console he plays on and you should be able to use it on the original console he downloadeded to.
When I first played halo 4 I forgot I was on my 2nd profile and downloaded the map pass and prime armour and specializations to my 2nd account by mistake. Not knowing I wouldnt be able to use it on my main. It cost me 30 pounds on day one of release to buy a 2nd limited edition game content code from ebay.
This problem has since been addressed as I have collected all the dlc codes from ebay my fotus, deadeye, venator, gugnir, lotus, Battle rifle camo skin and my other camo armour are now all useable on my 2nd account without my main signed in.

I also bought extra codes early on for my kids when I thought they were account locked not console locked. Turned out to be a waste of money.
343 should have got that correct in the first place.
