How to unlock Fotus armor?

Fotus armor in Halo 4 can only be obtained from purchasing a limited edition Halo 4 console.

Hello All,
I have the Limited edition Halo 4 console with the Halo 4 Limited edition game yet for some reason I still DO NOT have the FOTUS Armour. I have been playing since game release and I have all of the known DLC cards in the game box.
The DLC was unlocked on my brother’s account and both of us have the DL content (Hazop FRST etc.) but not the FOTUS armour.
So, can the people who have the FOTUS armour, please tell me if the armour has to be downloaded to the console to be considered unlocked or is it that I must somehow get hold of a FOTUS game code.

So whose console and profile did you use the original code with?

Typically DLC codes don’t transmit both ways, even if you’re on a shared Xbox.

Please don’t revive old topics and please don’t beg for codes. As mentioned above the only way to get fotus is by purchasing the Limited Edition console
