I know there may have been many posts like this, but I would like to make one of my own because I figured different times and different threads will provide different opinions.
Personally, I love it and I will either refer to it as the tyrant armor or the unicorn armor.
I think it looks dumb and I have no guilt about not receiving it due to my lack of console purchase.
Makes enough sense. I think of it as a perk anyway, since I needed to get a new console regardless. I figured- 3 birds, one stone. Xbox + Halo 4+ AWESOME armor.
The horn is pretty cool though, reminds me of ceremonial armor/Medieval Knight armor, With the right color combinations it could look pretty nice, not 200 dollars nice but still nice.
It looks alright, I don’t regret pre order the LE instead of console, though. It’s not really my style.

Well, the money doesn’t go for the armor itself. The console itself (Let’s say it was the 4gb as a base) is 200. Add the approximate 130 bucks for the 320gb harddrive. An extra 50 for the second controller, and 60 for the game. That would add up 440 without tax.
with the console being 399.99 (about 428 post-taxes), I’d say it is a sweet deal compared to the raw pricing of the separate pieces.

Personally I love it, it is a very unique and beautiful piece of armor.

It doesn’t seem very fitting in the Halo universe but I can’t say I strongly dislike it or anything. It’ll be the new Hayabusa, except more rare.
I think it is a little over the top, but I still am a die hard halo fan and have to have it so I purchased the console in a heart beat. However, I needed a new box anyway because I have one from like 4 years ago that may not even run in another month when Halo 4 comes out anyway.
Also, I agree that its not worth buying the console for if you are ONLY interested in the armor because others are saying it will be available in the future probably a year down the road or so when Halo 5 comes out.

I don’t like how it looks. I’m adverse to the design. The helmet is ridiculous looking. The shoulders look terrible. There’s too many sharp bits that stick out. The thing on the back is far too large. It’s not streamlined and elegant. I’m particular about aesthetics.
I think the FOTUS armor reminds me of Ornamental armor you’d wear to a religious event or even the wedding of a very high-up individual(s). (not that a Spartan would be at a wedding for any reason.) Itlooks to be a very intimidating and commanding armor on the battlefield. Very fierce looking, I didn’t like it at first but I saw some recolors and I really like it with black on Gold or Red on White. It’s like if a Rich kid had armor.
It’s silly. That’s all I can say.
(And I don’t mean that in a bad way.)

That’s essentially what it is. 
I agree with TCC on how it looks ornamental. And based on the spartan at a wedding, I’m pretty sure Digitalph33r had that covered with some of his videos.
I like it, especially when red with green visor.
I like it and can’t wait to wear it come 11/6.
It just looks like a very “commanding” armor.
Pretty cool. Needs a better paint job than the one being displayed though.
Plus, I needed a new console anyway with my old console getting the RROD and all.
