Just wanted to clear this up for people, and yes, I do know that people have already posted this. Anyways, the description of what the limited edition and halo 4 xbox comes with, says it comes with the skin only, but BS angel already said that the armor and the skin IS EXCLUSIVE. It just doesn’t say that at places like amazon, walmart,etc…

Have you SEEN the rest of the threads on here? The Recruit Armor itself is given to everyone as soon as they enter the Infinity. The skin, however, is for us who like to fork out that little bit of extra money.

you didnt read the rest of the locked post, she said that you only get the skin.
The armor is available for everyone.
she said this "Recruit armor is not an LE exclusive. LE gets the Recruit Prime skin. You get the base Recruit armor the first time you enter Infinity and your Spartan is created.

what pisses me off is that we don’t get an armor set for buying LE, and I wonder if 343i realizes that no one playing an 18+ game cares about avatar items.
I realize that we get a 90 minute FuD exclusive thing, war games pass and a cool looking case, but the rest is an armor skin and a weapon skin (which I don’t understand why anyone likes skins, they are pointless) and then some avatar items…AVATAR ITEMS??? Who possible gives a single -Yoink- about avatar items! NO ONE, unless they are 6 years old.
So it seems like the $35 we are spending is a rip-off, the only thing good is the war games pass.

I might cancel my preorder and just preorder the standard edition from EB Games… at least I’ll get the Arctic BR skin.

Do whatcha gotta do dude, right now the Console Edition is the one I’m eying up. I’ve never owned a special console edition before and Halo 4 seems the right time to do it. However, if I’m just paying for a “sort of exclusive” Armor Set that’s being advertized as Exclusive then I’ll just get the standard edition since folks now consider the Ltd Edition useless in terms of Armor.

I think the FOTUS armour is exclusive to the console bundle.

I might get my money back from the limited and go back to standard. That is just outright false advertising. 343 needs to get their -Yoink- together.
That’s why I bought standard and then bought the maps. Saved me some money.
