Forza... Cosmetics?

So I’ve been seeing a lot of gameplay for Forza Horizon 5 lately and one thing that constantly pops up in the gameplay is the UNSC Warthog. I know this isn’t new and that the Warthog was in Horizon 4 as well but I couldn’t help but think…

Is Halo Infinite going to get cosmetic items featured from other Xbox properties?

Like, one day, an unlockable item in the battle pass is going to be a chest piece from Gears of War? Or a helmet from The Outer Worlds?

What does everyone think about this?

I definitely think this will happen… at a cost. You will probably need a save file of each game to unlock their cosmetics. So get Gamepass or buy or rent the games. I don’t like it.

BTW I unlocked the Warthog in FH5 yesterday and it is beautiful.

Doomguy armour would be acceptable but for the most part I hope they keep crossovers to a minimum. They just got the aesthetics of this game right. Don’t ruin it with random tat from Microsoft properties.

They will have cosmetics out the -Yoink!- this time around, so to answer your question yes but exactly when nobody knows yet.

I sure hope for more references to Gundam, but also Gears of war and Forza.

I did notice in Horizon 5 that they have the following horn/sound effect legendries:

  • Halo Theme
  • Halo Shield Recharge
  • Grunt Birthday Party (of course)
  • Sea of Thieves theme
  • Killer Instinct theme
  • Ori And The Blind Forest theme
  • Banjo-Kazooie Spiral Mountain 1 & 2 themes
  • Battletoads theme
  • The Outer Worlds theme
  • Doom E1M1 High
  • Doom E1M1 Low
  • Microsoft Teams Calling (this one is epic rarity)
  • Windows XP Shutdown
  • Windows Tada
  • Windows 10 Notification

[I love how vNext lets me upload screenshots, but then when you go to post it’s like “actually you can’t do that”]

I could see a black/silver w/orange accented Forza armor coating or something maybe? I think that would be kind cool.

  1. The flight did have that armor coating with the almost RX-79 color theme.
  2. I’m Shaun and I’m also for Japan (my most recent visit to Tokyo was 2 months before the Great No-Outside :confused: ]

Crazy, yes I know about the RX78 color way wish there were more, Sazabi metal styled and some maybe more closer to other unique colors seen in the series.
