When does the forward unto dawn story line take place? Between halo 2&3? During that little “gap” of time between halo 2&3? As he is wearing the Mark VI . But also no scar still on his armor. I forgot how he got that scar which halo? Halo 3 right? when he entered earth atmosphere and crash landed.
I am not sure, but I think it starts before Halo CE.
I heard that it’s like around 20 years before Halo CE. I’m not sure though.

This is right. It just makes me wonder how many years are they going to skip with each episode of the series.

If I had to guess, I’d imagine the first couple episodes will cover, at best, 2 years. After than, it’ll likely take major leaps between key plot points. That’s just my guess.

I’m guessing they’ll take 2 or 3 episodes to cover the time before CE, and then skip the parts covered by each of the 3 games, and cover the time between 3 and 4.

I imagine a single episode could cover the events of the main trilogy of games (taking place over the course of 4 months), but we’ll see.

He’s wearing a stylize version of Mk. IV, first seen in the Halo Legends Episode The Package. It’s appearance is non-canon.
That sucks…like alot. Well I hope if they make an actual halo movie they will keep everything Canon…
