Premiering this October on a soon-to-be-launched Machinima channel on YouTube, and on Halo Waypoint, Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn is a live-action digital series that takes fans back to the terrifying beginning of the Human/Covenant war, when the Master Chief inspired a young cadet who would eventually become a leader aboard the UNSC’s greatest vessel: the UNSC Infinity. Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn tells a story leading into the events of Halo 4, the biggest entertainment event of 2012.

I must say, im really excited for this series. It’s so cool of 343i to be making something like this, I’ve wanted a halo film for a long time but this may fill the void. Its a great way to hype up the game too… 343i is really taking on a lot of challenges… making Spartan Ops weekly, the live action film, etc.

Thanks Link. As for the teaser, its definitely given some clue’s into the series already. Also, I’m loving the AR on the ground with the light still on and the various rounds all over the floor… definitely feeding the vibe that he’s going through a flashback of sorts (i.e. did something important and suddenly realized where he was exactly). This series is going to be goooodd…
I love the UNSC marching song playing in the background. Overall the teaser was nice, though I’m still unsure how I feel about the Chief wearing the Halo Legends “Package” version of Mk. IV.

It probably is. The story is about how the Chief’s action inspire a cadet during the war. This cadet eventually becomes a leader on board the Infinity.
