Well, yes it’s going to be on youtube, the Machinima channel will be releasing good versions of each episode, but everyone else will be posting poorly done ripped versions, like pointing a video camera at a TV. And most of those extra, non-official uploads will most likely be ripped down by Youtube or Microsoft. The DVD version isn’t on youtube, you don’t need internet to watch it, and it’s HQ, no extra logos all over the video, don’t have to hunt for the next episode.

i agree i want a DvD it will go well with my halo legends DvD, but I can live with it

Agree - the management of Waypoint does not leave a good taste in my mouth or hopes that it will get better anytime soon. Even this forum, which is one of the most basic functions a website can host, takes ages to load into a browser. If you can’t even figure out how to run a proper forum then how on earth are you going to stream HD video?
They should at least give an HD download or physical disc.

Check your connection or your browser. This forum or waypoint doesn’t take more long than any other related forum out there for me.

im not gonne lie… I was kinda dissipointed when i heard this… I guess 343i does have a reason for this…

This saddens me very much… The video will obviously be on Youtube within a few days, so the extended edition of Forward Unto Dawn isn’t really that great of an addition to the Limited Edition.
However, I am still going to buy the Limited Edition, no doubts about it. Everything else we’ll be getting with it is more than worth the extra money, and I will gladly shell it out!

A choice got made. Simple as that.
I want a Forward Unto Dawn DVD! If the whole video lasts 90 mins, and it’s five weekly episodes, then they should be 18 mins each. I don’t wanna wait for it to load, having a DVD is way more comfortable.
Sure, I can only wait for less than a minute then start playing it, but I have wireless internet and sometimes it “blinks” making me to start the loading all over again.
For 100 bucks, it well damn deserves to be on a DVD!
On the link provided in the OP, that guy says “it’s not possible a physical copy because of deadlines…” (or so); well, if that is such the case then why do you offer it in the first place?
If they hadn’t ever mentioned it (that means, included this feature in the Limited Edition), no one would be pissed now. Im Ok pretty much overall about the LE, but come on! You still can, at least, put in on a label-free DVD, with label-free case (it could even be a paper case). With a sharpie hand writing saying: “Forward Unto Dawn Special Edition”
