Forward Unto Dawn: Leg out side of Warthog?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ca3Y8Ws3plI&list=LLLATem8hcQK0IdLjdEifU4Q&feature=mh_lolz

At about 2:35, there is a clip of the Warthog being driven, the view is from the passenger side. Why is the passenger letting their leg hang out?

I noticed during the video describing the making of the trailer, when getting in to the Warthog the passenger let their leg hang out, but a guy said cut so I thought it was a mistake.

Anyone else notice?

Thoughts??

The personnel carrier variant maybe?

> The personnel carrier variant maybe?

There is only one leg, and its coming right out of the passenger seat entry crevice.

Well if you think about it, it would allow more body movement and angel adjustment for the passenger and his/her rifle when shooting. Perhaps this is a small feature they are adding for Halo 4?

Chief made a mistake letting the NPC drive.

Perhaps that leg serves as a new Cupholder? Nice find OP!

Welp, there goes the only good theory apart from maybe too many people in the warthog (hard to tell with the lights).

That or somebody has little regard for vehicle safety.

Why put your leg in danger when you can just move around in your seat? I think it looks better when a leg isn’t randomly popping out the side awkwardly, so I really hope this isn’t in Halo4.

If people are getting in, in a rush, they’ll probably leave their leg out. I don’t know, just wait and see. I can’t see how you would notice something so small, haha. :L

Imagine you are in the passenger seat of a car, try standing up and it’s difficult because your legs and knees immediately hit the footwell interior as you try to raise yourself.

Now imagine your outside leg being on the external of the car. You are much be capable of raising yourself as there is a little to no obstruction to this part of your body, allowing yourself to adjust and raise your whole body for a better angel.

Well when I get into a car I normal don’t let my leg hang out the door.

Just because its a small part of the video doesn’t mean its really hard to see. I was looking in the right spot at the right time.

I’m alright with this in the show, but I think it would be stupid for it to be in the game, considering how much -Yoink- the hog goes through in the game, and it just looks weird.

I’m pretty sure there is three people in the front of the warthog
the driver and two passengers. and chief will go on the gun.

so the leg hanging out might be to make space.

Thank you, OP. I just saw 3+ minutes of pure nirvana.

As for the leg thing, I have no clue. I didn’t get a good enough shot of it, unfortunately.

because you want to be comfortable when killing Covies!

there are 3 people in the front of the warthog, she puts her leg out for space and so she can shoot.

There is also someone laying next to the turret. lol

This would help. I mean try to shoot straight ahead at an enemy without having to lean out a little.

In the games, the people in the passenger seat always sit on the top edge of the chair, so they have a clear view directly ahead.

Why not and why does it matter?
