I almost couldn’t watch the first episode, everything was so lame and cheesy in my honest opinion. Would have been much better if they had made an animated series instead.

IMO it was very nice for a first episode. they couldnt fit too much into the episode because of a 20 minute time limit. Its just the starting point others wil be better
I loved it, honestly wasn’t expecting much, but it turned out WAY better than I thought.
I thought it was pretty good.
Animated? No. We’ve gotten plenty of animated Halo.
Its time for some true live action, and its a free movie, so of course its not going to be some Hollywood super movie.
And, its the first episode. Getting things started, introducing the characters. Its not supposed to get too heated or climatic yet. Save that for when the Chief and the Covenant show up.
