As you (most likely) know, the Limited Edition of Halo 4 will include a “90-minute version of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.” Has the format of this bonus content been announced?
As I see it, there are three possible options:
- Blu-ray
- DVD
- Downloadable videos
I would definitely prefer a Blu-ray disc so that I can watch the series in HD, but not everyone has a Blu-ray player. A DVD would be marginally cheaper, but doesn’t offer HD (which would be lame). Downloadable videos appear simple on the surface, but actually come with a problem: how do you make them accessible ONLY for owners of the LE? A download code sounds like a good idea, but then where do you redeem the code? Amazon? iTunes (probably not)?
A link to the official word would be amazing. If no such resource exists, feel free to speculate for fun. 
It won’t be any other than something you can watch via Halo Waypoint on the web or on the console.
It’s most likely a downloadable market place redeem. It would be the simplest and most convenient form for xbox owners.

You could watch it on the Xbox. I sure it’s a CD disc, at least I think.

By FAR, the most disappointing aspect of halo 4 so far. Ok waypoint exists, we get it. Stop trying to ram it down our throats by making content exclusive to it when it is wholly inappropriate to do so.
How hard is it to throw in a DVD of what is essentially a low budget halo movie? Or at least a HD download token. Preferably both.
I cannot stream more than 45 minutes of anything per day before my ISP comes down on my -Yoink- like a ton of bricks, and i live in a city in a relatively densely populated country in the first world. Netflix craps out towards the end of a single film. I gather things like internet caps and limits are even worse in lots of places in America. What the hell are they thinking?

Was this confirmed? I was assuming it would be a download code, like the inclusion of the Mortal Kombat movie in MK Komplete, or Batman: Year One in Arkham City GotY.
my money is on a CD but I hope for a DVD because it could provide HD as far as I know
It’ll probably come on the second DVD- maybe a high def format will be available to those with the disk inserted to watch on Waypoint.
Either way, it comes with 15 extra minutes so…

I really really hope its a dvd. It would be cheap to just force you to stream it…
