Since none of my fellow PhNx people are online, I figured I’d ask you all this:
How do you think FUD will end?
Personally, I’m going with the end having, at least, Chyler Silva (Anne Popplin, Narnia movies) dead or dying and this is why Lasky will finally hate the Insurrection. No greater ability to hate something when the girl of your dreams dies…
With a Warthog Run.
Silva has to die. It’ll highly motivate Lasky in the Human-Covenant war. Because even in the Trailer, he’s running away from the fighting against the Covenant, so it looks like he needs motivation to fight the Covenant, even if it’s angry motivation.
As for the ending, it’ll probably be a Warthog Run actually (which I don’t mind because it’ll be in a movie, and not in the game for a fourth time), seeing as they have to get off the planet before the Covenant glass it.
Yea I’m also thinking she will die. Just so he grows some balls and becomes who he is in Halo 4.

i doubt it will be from the innies, but rather from the covies. theyll kill silva, and he’ll want to f*ck them up

That was my point. Anything against the UNSC, it won’t be so much of an anger issue either, but more of a “she died… so I could live.” type of thing. He’s naturally going to be angry, but I’m more leaning to the hero element then one of pure rage and vengeance attitude. He IS a cadet learning at a military academy after all, your trained to hate, but to channel that hate into the best weapon against enemies…
It’d be cliche but I could care less. Action’s coming and that’s what I’ve been waiting for.

He has the “balls” to be a great soldier, that was proved in his [reckless] actions in the first episode and again during his brilliant execution of “Hannibal’s pincer” against Zuma Squad in the new episode. If you’re referring to his beliefs that the Colonial Civil War is a lost cause for Earth, then I would hope that you certainly respect that all he likely wants for the empire is to allow colonies to have a degree of provincial self rule.

This is not a debate about Lasky, though he will likely be involved greatly. It’s a debate about the ending of Forward Unto Dawn. Stay on topic or don’t post please. Thanks.
As for another theory, I also think its possible for the entire squad to endure a great loss, maybe a certain respectable general being executed in their sights and they understand the true meaning of being warriors. Similar to the feelings of the Halo 3: ODST trailer.
In the end, Master Chief is kicking butt again! Nothing could go wrong with that!
