I’ll admit. I lol’d.
What I don’t understand is that the Cadet in charge orders that they will attack on his command. Thomas suggests they flank, stating that commander’s orders don’t make sense. When his request is not heard, he proceeds to run out solo, 5 or so seconds before a co-ordinated blitz would have been made, doing the exact same thing he said wouldn’t make any sense. Then later, as he is chastized, “Sir” who is a woman, states that his actions could have got his whole squad killed.
Lol. His whole squad didn’t do a freakin’ thing but sit in the damn bunker. WTF?

All sitting in an ‘open’ bunker was stupid in the first place. If they were going to stand their ground, they could have atleast made the effort to find cover.
I guess they’re just kids training, but jeez, would not want to be under that guys command.

You realize they didn’t get a lot of time to do this nor a large budget… right?
They filmed a 90 minute movie in about 3 months, not sure how much you know about film but that isn’t very much time at all.

I wasn’t criticizing the project at all. It’s awesome. This is just applying the Leeroy meme to what happened…

You people do realize this is training, not actual combat.
Do you know what I had in the line of cover in my Army training?
plywood boards with window and door cut outs.
The practice grenade throwing pits wasn’t even the size of the live grenade pits, they was 4ftx4ft and made out of logs.
And as far as tactics, again, this is training, this is teaching them better tactics.
