Woop! Another forum update.
[/li]- Thanks now appear in one huge list below posts now
- Multi-Quote is now a button and not a tick box
Thanks for finally making Multi-Quote a button but I have a quarrel with how Thanks are displayed now, this ultimately makes topic extremely long to scroll down now, especially a topic like this one.
I know there is an option to stop Thanks from displaying under all the posts but I still want to see them. Is it possible to implement a ‘Show Thanks’ button on a post w/ Thanks?
I like it and think it sets the thanks out clearer and makes it look smarter.
It’s not really a problem, hardly any posts have more than a few thanks, and the ones that do are in popular threads where people jump to the last few pages to keep up with the discussion. They’re not going to scroll down a long list of thanks like that on the first page very often at all.
It’s funny though, when I first saw the new way of displaying thanks that was the first post that came to my mind as well!

Let’s say Halo 5 gets announced at E3 and someone decides to make a topic with all information and it ends up being an extremely popular topic that the OP constantly updates and requires use of the second post and then they start editing information into that post too, the OP is bound to have a ton of thanks and you have to scroll a dull amount just to see the most recent news.
It’d be nice to have these options:
Show Thanks
Show Thanks w/ Menu
Hide Thanks
I still can’t press ‘Save’ when selecting Topic and Post Display. It’s like there isn’t a button, but only a graphic. It’s been like this since the last update.
