Anyone else notice this? I searched for a thread of mine by typing in the exact title of it, and didn’t get a result. In fact, I got 0 results. This happens FREQUENTLY, actually.
Also, “My Recent/Favourite” topics are completely boned. “Recent” shows 0 threads that I have had anything to do with, but a bunch of threads I absolutely DIDN’T have anything to do with, and “Favourites” has none of the threads I tagged as favourite, but a bunch of random threads I’ve never even read, much less posted in or tagged as favourite.
It’s been that way for some time now. Any chance of Waypoint developers fixing this in the near future?

A lot of Halo Waypoint’s functions are currently down, due to the amount of traffic brought in by E3. The Waypoint team are hoping to get them up and running soon.

My bad. I just figured “General Discussion” meant “anything goes” or for non-specific topics.

General Discussion is for Halo (ones that don’t fit in any of the other forums) and xbox related topics. It isn’t just for ‘anything goes’ discussion. Yo-Yo! is the off-topic discussion thread for that kind of thing.

I wonder if “Recent Topics” refers to any topic you’ve opened, even if you never posted? Still completely unintuitive and arguably broken, but it’d explain a lot.
As for Favourites? Works for me. :\
I completely agree. I can’t tell you how many time people troll me saying “Search for threads before starting new ones”. I do, and what pops up (if anything) has nothing to do with my search. Also, my recent is stuff I’ve never seen and does not include what I’ve recently posted on (Which makes me have to follow EVERY thread I want to continue posting on). My favorites works though.
If I recall correctly, the “Active Topics” within “My Topics” has always listed every single newly active post in the time frame you specify. In other words, it lists every topic that has anyone posting in it.
I haven’t used the “Favorite Topics” feature, so I can’t comment on that.
