Forum Ranks *Idea*

Since the forum ranks are based on the amount post each individual one has, it kind of makes the forum ranks unbiased. I say since we have the Thanks System or even other things [like medals]; it should AT LEAST help boost our forum ranks.

Ex: You can go from Recruit - Iron to Recruit - Bronze within having 90 Posts/11 thanks <- Something Like That :stuck_out_tongue:
You’ll probably say, “Oh well everyone will just become Spartan rank!” etc. But, that’s just an idea. Think about it, shouldn’t you get rewarded for putting a useful post? (343i could possibly make a new medal with the amount of Thanks you got) Instead of constantly spamming post almost 40 times a day?

But just share your idea, even if it can surpass minez :stuck_out_tongue:

Nope. That’d just encourage thanks boosting. Anyone can go around and thank all the posts they see which would inflate their thanks stats.

Oh yeah. They have something similar on the CoD forums that can be exploited.

I really don’t care that much about a forum rank. Just sick of seeing MOU.

In all seriousness, thanks are meant to be a sign that you’ve helped out, making it part of the ranking system just encourages you to beg for thanks and do what Austin said above.

Seems like that would turn the ranking system into a popularity contest of who can the highest rank with the most thanks.
