At least allow people who have banned to see why they were banned. I can’t read my inbox when I am banned. Seems cruel especially if someone receives a perma ban.

First and foremost, alerting someone how to do things is fine.
Letting them know you can do things is not.
As for the given situation on bans, we are not allowed to discuss the reasons for bans, but yes, I do agree something needs to be done about viewing inbox messages for all suspensions or bans in correlation to this website.
While it isn’t cruel like the OP stated in my opinion, it is something for others to consider and discuss.
I propose utilizing a separate inbox associated with the Halo 4 profiles for communications between users and appropriate administrators. This could be utilized for notifications of bans, announcements, and overall promotions which 343 would like to communicate with us.
It also solves the issue of coming onto the forums without a search function to try and find relevant threads for a topic.
Communication seems to be a problem for anything official halo.
Ok well I have removed that part I suggest you remove it from yours too. Sorry.
Protip: Try not to get banned in the first place.
You can’t punish people without telling them what they did wrong. That is parenting 101. I don’t know why 343 thinks they have this untouchable franchise that is impossible to push people away from. It almost feels like they are just trolling us.

Just wait buddy, you’ll have your day too. This is what happens when the mods are unpaid power hungry kids. I however probably deserved a ban but a warning would of been nice.

Agreed when I got banned I was under the impression that we lived in a free society and I had freedom of speech to voice my opinion no matter what the subject or how negative. Apparently I was wrong the mods push any criticism of halo 4 under the carpet. All I was doing was voicing my opinion in the hope that someone may listen and the game be changed. I did not say anything that many others here have said after me I just said it first.

I once got banned for a week, wasn’t sure why because I couldn’t check the reason behind it. A week later, the ban passes, it turns out I was banned for saying the word “-Yoink!-” So be careful with words you use on here, seems there are sensitive people knocking around on a forum for an M rated game.

also mods go on powertrips and just get online looking to ban someone even if there is no reason to
and they stopped giving out warnings now, they just straight up ban you
Yes but I hate to say it and please dont get mad at me but that word is a shorten version of the word that starts with RE… those types of people cannot help the way they are and no one should ever make fun of them or use that word loosely.
I am not saying you used that word to take the mikey but rather that you should put a better word into context when posting. Sorry but I beat you know deep down you shouldnt use it. I always used blam on bungie.net when I wanted to swear and on waypoint I just put yoink…lol. Simples

Being courteous is one of them and you were not. You deserved it.
Real hard to get banned, so I’m sure it’s a good thing.

We do not censor criticisms of the Halo franchise, or any of the products or services that are part of it. If we banned people just for criticizing Halo 4, then nearly every thread in that section would be locked, and half of the moderation staff would have to ban themselves. (I myself have criticized Halo 4’s Custom Game offerings on this very forum, and I’ve seen my colleagues provide constructive criticisms on other aspects of the game.)
What we ban for is non-constructive or non-courteous posts, regardless of the opinions expressed therein. If you feel that one of your past posts has been wrongfully deemed as such, you’re welcome to send a private message to the moderator that originally warned or banned you. If you’re worried that one of your future posts might be deemed non-constructive or non-courteous, then I’d recommend holding off on posting it, and sending us a copy in the meantime. If it’s cool to post, we’ll let you know.
There are legitimate reasons why we do not allow such inquiries to be conducted in public. I’ve detailed some of them before.
