i just wanted to know why there hasent been that much said about the forrunner precusor war and if there has been anything about it in the two forrunner books because i would think it would make an interesting subject to read about
I completely agree, I’d love to read about that - but that’s probably too big a subject to cover in the remaining book
We have been given a general idea about what happened, but to be honest we havn’t seen the whole picture of the Forerunner/Human/Flood war yet.
In time
yeah hopefully they do do something for both of the wars

Also wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of the forerunner precursor war is explained through Halo 4-6, as it’s looking like the trilogy is shaping up to be about a human-precursor war, with the forerunner (and perhaps other alien species) helping us out.
Actually for Halo 4-6 I hope we will fight alonside covenant. I mean, where else are we going to get sticky grenade? Arbiter should come and give us a hand.

I actually see the Elites being an enemy once again.
They are looking for guidance from their Gods and if (let’s say the precursors) came along proving they are the Gods, then the elites would not hesitate to once again try and exterminate us. If the Gods demanded it.
Of course I don’t believe Arby would turn on us.

acturally the sangheili worshiped the forrunners not the precursors and i dout that because the sangheili ships are not really fit for fighting after they spilt from the covenant and ther would be noway the precursor could say there forrunners because thier not human
My idea of what happened to the Precursors.
The precursors decided that the humans shall inherit the Mantle. (Some type of title of leading the galaxy?) The forerunners fought with the Precursors and then the flood were created by the Precursors. Unable to release the flood, they were pushed back by the forerunners and then suffered finishing destruction by the flood? The so called final precursor turns out just to be the collection of a group of dead precursors absorbed by the flood and becoming the Gravemind.
