"Forgotten" Halo vehicles

And by “forgotten” I mean vehicles that have only really appeared in a single Halo game and/or that if you were to ask the average Halo player to name off the vehicles in Halo the ones that they might forget.

Four vehicles come to mind:

Shadow(Halo 2)
Spectre(Halo 2)
Prowler(Halo 3)
Revenant(Halo Reach)

It appears like any Covenant vehicle that tries to fill the gap between the Ghost and Wraith is doomed to never appear in another Halo game.

Note: I didn’t list the Chopper here because I believe everyone here remembers the Chopper and how awesome it was. However I doubt the Chopper or Prowler would be returning in Halo 4(Maybe it’ll be in Halo 5?) as there are no Brutes in Halo 4.

So what old not really used vehicle would you like to see make a return one day?

considering that Halo wars took place BEFORE any of the Halo games, i’m going to go with the Cobra

but in all seriousness it is the only underused and/or forgotten vehicle that i want

Halo wars has plenty.

Glasslands features a revenant.

Hornet. They were awesome and didn’t appear enough in Halo 3.

I want a mother loving cobra in H4!! Hell yeah!

I want to see the Grizzly in one of the future games.

I remember the Spectre . It was actually a cool way to fill the gap. Out of everything you listed it was my favorite. The Prowler was pretty fun too.

I have no idea what the Shadow is.

I don’t really care about Halo Wars vehicles, but I hope those four vehicles listed above return in Customs and Forge in Halo 5.

Well I can understand why some H.W. vehicles shouldn’t make a return, for example the AV-22 Sparrowhawk(Hawk) because:

While the AV-14 Hornet was the Sparrowhawk’s predecessor it appears to have out lived the Hawk and still is in service within the UNSC.

However of all H.W. vehicles I would like to see come back in full FPS Halo glory would be the SP42 Main Battle Tank otherwise known as the Cobra. I could imagine seeing these deployed on the battle field locked down creating a front line shooting at targets in the distance as warthogs and falcons drive by blasting dirt in the air with their tires as the chief guns down enemies. It would be awesome. Imagine being that close to one driving by and then it shoots and all you hear is the BOOM of its shot behind you as you drive towards the enemy in your hog.

I haven’t forgotten any of those vehicles.

me neither… and wait…for an adition to this list… i thought maybe the locust and cobra should return…each of them having the only vehicle sniping capability…that would be reasonable and cool. I was pretty fond of the locust… not over powered, and actually kind of weak, but at range, it pretty rules.
