Forget the overpriced items for a second. The shop is BORING!

We get 3 weekly items and 7 daily bundles. Well, essentially 4 daily bundles. Because daily bundles come back two times a week. The shotgun bundle is sold for the second time this week (boring) and then it doesn’t come back for several weeks or months (fomo).

So in a whole week 7 different items. It is both BORING and FOMO. What is that? BOMO?

Anyway, checking the store of Destiny 2 right now. They are selling several HUNDREDS of items. Some for real money, others for in game currency. There is no Fomo whatsoever.

Same with CoD. Every single item is for sale at any given time. Even free bundles come around every few days/weeks. And a 100 tier battle pass every 1,5 months that let’s you earn back the price of the battle pass + even more.

I wouldn’t even mind 343 is doing what they are doing if this is what they had promised. It bothers me because it is the exact OPPOSITE of what they promised: A player first mentality. CoD and Destiny 2 are at this point WAY more player first focussed. I don’t know about other FPS games like Apex, because I never played these other games.

343, just stop with the weekly items/bundles. Just have 10 daily bundles and rotate everything all the time. If you missed an item you don’t have to wait longer than 2 or 3 weeks. I KNOW, that almost sounds like ‘player first’ and NO FOMO.

I feel like the shop should have alot more stuff available at one time. I would gladly purchase a weapon skin, but the only ones available are only for the br or the sniper. Why cant there be universal skins?

I just think the shop needs to have everything in it, when they add new stuff it stays in there.

If they really want limited/exclusive bundles just do it and say.

Il use call of dutys warzone store as an example im pretty sure they all stay (havent played the game in over a year)

I don’t mind a rotating shop, Understand that helps massively for helping encourage players to buy cough FOMO. I get it, I’m not thinking they should change it.

At the very least though have 1 weekly item, and 3 daily items. It should change way more than it does. Right now I know I’m almost definitely not going to spend any money after I’ve seen the 3 items.

I actually agree with you. If they want an actual shop for this game, they shouldn’t limit it to a few items/bundles.

I think they should make an entire section for coatings (offered at cheap price, im not paying 6 dollars for a damn coating that can only be used for one damn core)

If the UI doesnt support multiple items on one page, then just make another page?

I also agree with you about FOMO. They made the BP in a way that avoids FOMO, but the shop makes you wait weeks for certain items return, especially Events that pretty much create FOMO if the event is a one time thing. We dont know if the cyber showdown event will ever return, meaning we wont know if the items that were in the shop for that event will ever return either.
