Hey 343,
So I’ve been an avid Halo player since Halo came out on the original Xbox, I was there when the series shifted from Bungie to your hands and I didn’t mind, I figured you guys would do great. I loved Halo 4 and couldn’t wait to enjoy all the nostalgia of the Halo series on my Xbox One, only to be let down. See I don’t focus on the multiplayer until I’ve 100% completed the campaign of games, and that was my intention with the MCC. Which that has been impossible to do, I am getting quite frustrated, I haven’t really had any issues that have prevented me from completing missions but the issue lies in getting credit where its due when I complete missions on Legendary. My girlfriend and I are playing CO-OP together on Legendary and once we complete it, we may get credit or we may not, there have been missions that she has gotten credit for that I have not and vice-versa. This is quite frustrating as we have to play the mission again, and sometimes that doesn’t even help, we had to complete Cairo Station on Halo 2, 6 different times until we both finally had credit for completing Legendary (which can be quite difficult at times.) So as I am sure you can understand as a huge fan of Halo and a 100%-er this may be causing me to have difficulty sleeping. This happened in Halo: CE and is now happening in Halo 2 as well, we just beat Delta Halo and once again, no credit, it seems hit or miss, and I hate it. I understand that the multiplayer issues are important to fix, but the campaign issues are equally as important. Also our CO-OP achievements such as complete a mission on Normal, Heroic and Legendary are not unlocking, they are stuck in an annoying perpetual state of “Done! Unlocking…”
So I beg you 343, fix this issue so I can complete my favorite games… Please…
They have stated that they have teams working on both aspects of the game, single player and multiplayer. Although you have to realize that multiplayer will probably forever be prioritized over single, but they won’t forget about it.
Well that’s good to hear, just most of what they say and you keep seeing says “Multiplayer, multiplayer, multiplayer” so I was getting frustrated on top of already being frustrated… I just want to see my legendary logos on each mission D:
Yet here we are about a month since this game has been out, MM has barely gotten better, if at all, and I havent had any problems getting achievements or credit for completing campaign missions UNTIL I started halo 4 on legendary today, I got the game at the end of november AFTER shelling out $450 for a new xbox that they simply required you to get, plus the game for a total of $510, just for them to take advantage of the loyal halo fan base worse than they did with halo 4, this game should not have been released for a couple months, I have completed halo 1-3 on legendary solo and have had no problems ( because MM doesnt work) so I decided to continue on to halo 4, I completed misson 1:Dawn and mission 2: Requiem and got credit and achievements, BUT I struggled all the way through mission 3 and 4 arguably in the top 4 hardest missions in the game, and got no ******* credit or achievements for over 2 hours of playing the game. Really? If this doesnt get fixed faster than ASAP, even for my avid love for halo, im never wasting money on any piece of **** that 343 slaps the name halo on and tries to shove down our throats again, this is rediculous, this game is damn near unplayable, 90% of the bugs that almost everyone is having to deal with is more than game breaking, 343 needs to learn to do their job, needless to say I have lost interest in trying to beat this final campaign, and since I just grinded through the other 3 games its obvious that I wont be playing them for a while, and MM continues to be broken, looks like MCC is getting out on the shelf until it gets somewhat playable, thanks for absolutely nothing 343. Sincerely, the long running halo community that you have more than disappointed. Rant over.
Agreed. I know the multiplayer portion of the game and it’s issues are very important, but so is the campaign glitches and bugs etc. I’m not sure if it’s fixed or not yet but the save & quit option being broken in Halo 2 seems like a huge priority to me. Things like that should be fixed a.s.a.p. I mean, the game has been out for around a month right?

Matchmaking barely got better. Sorry that is just false, Matchmaking got ALOT better.
You can find games with a party of 6 within a couple of mins,
Parties stick together after a game,
Searching with smaller groups can find you games within a min.
Are you one of the people who jugdes a patch right after release?
Because besides that being an inaccurate test, Xbox live had issue’s during the release date of that patch,

yes it does for others, with my terribvly slow internet my MP is even slower accompanying all these bugs.
i love the campaigns and happily play them over and over but its so annoying with all the huge serious bugs in them, especially achievements
