forget 1-50. Just do halo 3 ranking system

Tired of hearing about Reach’s system and H2’s system. I personally thought halo 2’s ranking system was way too complicated and Reach’s was based on time not skill. Halo 3’s was perfect:

Win = gain XP
Lose = lose XP

Plus you had individual ranks for playlist. It was simple and it worked.

Anyone agree/disagree?

Um, Halo 3 had 1-50 in ranked playlists. Players only lost XP if they quit out of a game and were penalized for it.

And you didn’t lose EXP just skill…

That’s a rather contradictive title…

the 1-50 is different than H3…everyone on the forum wants the H2 version. the H3 one was simpler. Yes H3 still had a rank system of 1-50 but it was never truly known as the original 1-50

The exp system didn’t work.

Someone hasn’t played halo 3 or doesn’t even know what hes talking about.

Halo 3s system was perfect and wasnt flawed at all.
They would be stupid to not implement this into H4.

Yeah I loved Halo 3’s ranking system, I didn’t make it past 41 one though, DAMN. EXP was awesome, I also enjoyed the fact that there wasn’t a meter that would rise after every match to show you how close you were to ranking up.

It always left that sense of anticipation after every match - “Am I gonna level up?!” Then sit for a couple seconds waiting for the number to change, good times.
