The new community update Summer Red, Summer Blue teases a picture of the forge menu showing something called ‘Prefabs’. If you look at the description of the word in the picture, it says "Opens the content browser to find and select a forge prefab to place". The word ‘Prefab’ means a prebuilt structure or building. Meaning that forge… it will have likely have prebuilt structures now! Something that was asked since forge at launch is finally gonna be added in. I decided to just say this because theres no other forum that says this I can see and that most of you might no know what prefab means. So… I decided to explain it so more can cheer or complain now.

Well 343i is sorta doing prebuilt structres, unlike previous Halos, ALL of these structures will be made by players, meaning they will take more than 1 space out of your budget, while I see this as a double-edged sword at the moment, and the little red flag in the back of my mind is going off, it really depends on how well the implementation works, I’d rather just have a classic structures tab personally, less work for 343i and less “lego” looking maps. Given 343i’s track record of coming up with great ideas, then implementing them poorly, cough firefight cough the Prefabs tab will either by bugged to hell or just flat out unusable when the update drops, so let’s them prove me wrong for once.
