Firstly I would like to say that I am a competitive-minded player, and I mainly enjoy playing smaller-scale maps.
In Halo: Reach there were some maps that came with the release that I consider OK, but just a select few - like Zealot, Countdown and possibly Boardwalk. The maps I mostly enjoy in MM are made in Forge, like Asylum, The Pit, Imago, Pulse, Uncaged, Kingdom etc.
With universial sprint I understand that the definition for a smaller-scale map will be a bit larger in general. But I know right now that there are only going to be no more than 2 or 3 maps that I will enjoy playing on a regular basis. This is where I hope forged maps come in.
Will there be any forged maps that get incorporated into MM, and how long will it take before they are? (How long did it take for forged maps in Halo: Reach to be incorporated?)
there won’t be any forged maps at launch but i beleive they will be adding some in the future.
give the forge community time to adjust to halo4s scale and gameplay and they’ll start to crank out some nice competitive maps, about a couple of months should be good enough.

I think there will be some 343 Forged maps available at launch. I thought they showed one in one of the Waypoint videos.

they said there wouldn’t be any at launch but have hinted at adding them in later.

Bummer, he even said it would be on the disc with the game. Wonder why it wouldn’t be in Match Making?

they said those are there to provide an example to eager players wanting to jump into forge, examples maps don’t make for actually good maps though.
they’re not having forged maps in matchmaking at the start probably because of the mixed opinions from reach.
