Forged Firefight Maps

We should be able to forge Firefight maps for matchmaking. That honestly would be amazing to make your own firefight map in general.

What do you guys think?

It’s a good idea to get maps for Warzone and WZAssault as well then. If 343i can’t make enough, they can just take Forged ones…
It would be nice to have 10 maps instead of 5…

It would be cool to do Warzone, Warzone Assault and Firefight maps. That is one thing the community is good at, making insane maps.

While this would be cool, it won’t happen. In order for us to be a able to forge our own WZ maps we would need to be able to add AI pathing to the map, as it is now if we were to add AI to a forged map the AI would simply act as a turret, remaining stationary while shooting at players that are within range, even if said player is behind a forged wall. If 343 were to add in pathing options it would open up a massive amount of forging options for the community including custom campaigns, WZ maps, possibly even offline bot matches. Unfortunately these will likely never make it into H5 simply due to both the limitations of the Xbox One and the H5 engine, there’s a chance we may end up seeing something like this in H6 and that would be incredible, as for the bot matches I doubt that will ever make it in game since it wouldn’t promote gold sales for MS.

TL;DR while it would be possible to add AI into forge in H5 it probably won’t happen until H6 and even then is still unlikely
