First of all, i have to say that i was REALLY surprised by the E3 demo, and everything seems excellent atm =]

But what about forge? We didn’t hear anything about it yet, do you think we will get the same reactions by forge too? I’m not sure, but i remember someone from 343 saying that forge is important for Halo. Regarding all these sweet info and new things we see for Halo 4 i bet we still have more surprises waiting for forge!!!

What do you guys think? Will we get surprised by forge? Will we be seeing improvements about it? Maybe building maps from scratch? (Crosses fingers >_<)

I’m not betting on it. It’ll probably just be Reach’s forge, but with more than one forge friendly map.

As long as it doesnt turn out to be another Grey World… it’ll be an improvement.

All Frank O’Connow stated upon a question about Forge was that the fans would not be disappointed.

It’ll be nice if there were new Forge objects with more customization options and more than just one ‘real’ Forge map. But whether there will be a great improvement is unknown so far.

Do you really think they would just copy&paste Forge2.0 ? are you high?

I’m sure 343i don’t want to reveal their cards all at once, they’re saving forge for a later date…perhaps at comic con.

Bungie originally had a lot more planned for Forge 2.0 but a lot of it got canned due to either disk space restrictions or time restrictions.

I’d bank on some stuff which he said they couldn’t implement (such as weather) making an appearance this time round…

Bungie debuted Forge 2.0 at Comic Con so I’d bet something happening there, too.

Are 343 going to Comic Con? Anyone know?

I hope we get things like more glass and maybe breakable glass or at least grass blocks.

343 has a lot of options with what they can do with Forge. They could leave it be and just add afew new features like weather/new objects/color schemes.

Or what they could do…

Since War Games takes place on the Infinity in a kinda Virtual Reality deck they could let you have ALOT more freedom. I’m saying Far Cry style but not as intense. VR means you can create anything anywhere since its virtual and since all the maps are just SIMULATIONS of real places you could edit everything but its up to 343 to let us have that kinda freedom with it. I hope they do and I hope I can create a map from scratch but I cant tell just yet what 343 is planning

Oh man, I hope so too. And changing the daytime would be nice too. Nothing against Halo Reach Forgeworld but it was kinda difficult to create a map with a convincing ‘night’ theme.

I want a REAL map creator, and before anyone says its infeasible, just look at Far Cry… as a start.
