Can anyone explain what the benefit of the “Forge” is? What does it get you?..What can you do with it? Any advice would be appreciated.
Forge is where you build anything you want. It’s a creators thing
If you have played Halo 5 matchmaking chances are pretty high you have played on maps created by the community. There are some amazing things players have done and some outstanding maps and prefabs.
Ever played a round of BTB? That was on a map built by a community member using forge. Community Slayer? Same deal. Ever played team slayer on White Cell? Forged map. If you’ve ever used the customs browser to find a match then odds are very high you played on a forged map. Just launch yourself into forge mode and start exploring.
Also, Halo 5’s is arguably the best version of Forge of any game in the series. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but you can build almost anything that comes to your mind.
