for forge world I hate having to put platforms under water to drive across it, so why not make a submarine or atleast some kind of boat type of thing. If you agree please post a comment.
Ever since playing BFBC Vietnam, I think a water vehicle would be a really good addition to the Halo sandbox.
Yes. Boats and aircraft carriers.
Bungie has actually tried to put a boat in Halo ever since Halo CE. Unfortunatly, boats simply don’t work well with Halo. They might work in Customs, but why put in an entire vehicle just for minigames?
I agree 10000000000000% + 10000000000000000000%

It could be in campaign too.

Fixed.

Again, its been tried. The concept have having to traverse a map via boat really just doesn’t play well. CE was orignally going to have a level like cartographer, where you had to go back and forth through the map, only having several islands the player had to play across. Bungie scapped the idea when they realized it sucked. Bungie also always seemed to have a hard time mastering the physics of an in-game boat.

As far as I know, it hasn’t been tried before. Would be kind of add though unless this was added into Halo 4, where they could add more underwater enemies and such. Hopefully spartans will learn to swim by H4.
how about an amphibious vehicle
for example somthing like the tank that can float and drive on land
my best idea is probly an ampibious elephant so you could use it as a large transport vehicle on land and in water

I meant for Halo 4. Coding, rendering and balancing a new vehicle or weapon into a game like halo is just not feasable. If they were to do anything. Add the campaign vehicles to the CEA maps. There’s no good reason not to. Honestly if they don’t do this I will actually think 343 secretly hates us.
No water vehicles.
Not even in Campaign.
Why?
Because it replicates the current experience only to slap on a new coat of paint while removing player options.
If you had a boat what would it do that a Warthog doesn’t already? In turn, what do you loose? You loose the ability to utilize any part of the map that isn’t on water. You loose the ability to freely enter or exit the vehicle because you weigh a ton and can not swim.
And for what? Something that looks different?
Even in campaign I would want it because you loose the ability to tackle a situation how you want. In Reach you can play Tip of the Spear from the Hog but if you want to get out and take the fight to them on foot you can.

Nobody cares.
Why?
Because more options is always better and Halo players have wanted boats for years.
