forge world lost its creativity?

What happened to forge and its almost limitless creativity?Me and my freinds loved roaming forge creating bases race tracks or just having a good warthog crash durby.but as most of you that have tried the forge in halo 4 its heartbreaking to know that the only scenery you can place is a a portable chair or radio much like halo 3 leaving behind its evolved creating, Which I find odd, to evolve its gameplay to make it so addicting for someplayers and fun to play and like i said befor to be able to build soo many things and return to simply add veichles or to edit what equipment that is placed on the map.I remember playing a map and this player had made a aircraft carrier with falcons as the aircraft obviously. But like forges creativity the falcon the only human aircraft in any halo is no longer with us ~RIP. like many people have said in the forums i still love halo its still amazing im just hoping that in a dlc they bring back forgewolrd or a new canvass to creat aswell the falcon and get that feeling of that almost unlimited creativity again as i did playing reach’s forge for the first time.

Im sorry for any misspelling

Whilst most threads are complaints about feature added in Halo4 (killcams, insta spawn, weapon drops etc)

What really upsets me most is the stuff they have taken away. I honestly feel like Halo4 is a step down from Reach in many ways.

Yes i agree with you. Though im thankfull of what I was reading earlier that most of the playlists that were taken off will return and depending on how much activity the paylists get will decide if they are kept or not.

same i was hoping i could play some fun custom games like. fatkid ,jail break ,ghost buster

;_; guess i will never have them fun feels anymore

but i still Freaking Love halo 4  campaign is a blast online is a blast so it’s a downer but i can live with it

Yes. But there is still hope for dlc’s

I just made my first gametype/map. Had some issues but the lack of options for editing in gametypes upsets me deeply. Probably one of the few complaints i have for this game.

It is very hard to deal with such a step backward in forge. I wish they would of added everything that they had in reach forge mode into H4 forge mode. Just acouple of hours ago, me and my freind had to jump to reach to play in forge.and the people that played 4 know how much of a step back it is from the amazing looking new weapons and the warthog as well as the new sounds they all have.

i feel ya, op. but you know, i found a couple of the forge-specific maps to actually be pretty sweet! check out Impact, for example. TONS of awesome new objects to play with over a huge space. lots of potential there! i think that’s where i’m going to start.

Over in the map Erosion we have the classic arena shape which is awesome for symmetrical stuff and general 4v4 maps plus it’s got a couple doorways that lead outside to a pretty cool landscape. And if those areas don’t inspire you, much of the empty space just above the water is wide-open for huge custom lay-outs, surrounded by an epic cave atmosphere. Oh, and the pipes are definitely worth looking into!

I’m still waiting for a terrain editor, though. more creative new pieces and object grouping, allowing copy and pasting / moving whole groups of things.

give me a flat space, let me landscape it and then let me forge on it. mmm, yeh. xD

Lmfao… They call that Map “Forge”?
I checked and got disappointed <-<;
We can only Add stuff from a very small selection, with Limit o.O
One of my reasons buying that game(my 1st Halo ever) was cuz of Map creation. But Halos… its extremly Limited
Its they maded same misstake like on most games, -Yoink!- Up Graphic. but not much gameplay <.<

Any1 played Far Cry? THATS what i Call map Forger o_o

I definitely wouldn’t say it lost its creativity. Yeah, we lost some scenery, but we gained the magnet and we got to place spots that edit gravity and speed. If anything, I’d say this forge was more of a lateral change, going a bit further than Reach if anything.
