Forge World Infinite

There should only be 3 forge maps total with a plethora of custom options to the map itself:
Flat canvas
-Snow
-Desert
-Grass
-Rock
-Urban
-Forerunner
-Underwater
Empty space
-Halo Ring atmosphere
-Halo Ring nearby
-Gas giant
-Planet
-Star (distant)
-Star (near)
-Lonely space (just stars and nebula)
-Void (one solid color. change fog/whatever for color)
FORGE WORLD 2.0
Similar set up to Halo Reach Forge World, but bigger and better.
Lots of terrain options perfect for map remakes such as
-Blood Gulch/Coagulation
-Valhalla
-Ascension
-Relic
-Sandtrap
-Lockout
-Sanctuary
-Last Resort
-Guardian
-Zanzibar
-Snowbound
-Avalanche
-Timberland
-The Silent Cartographer (with internal configuration being a very large open forerunner interior for maps such as cold storage, construct, citadel, etc)

Basically perfectly set up for a large handful of the most iconic multiplayer maps from previous titles, while also being more than capable for new ideas.

The only pre-built structures should be the forerunner structures of the cartographer island. There should be lots of objects perfect for those forge remakes like the last resort/zanzibar fan Also… The skybox should be changeable to non-halo ring for those non-forerunner maps.

I imagine that the map would have various climates at different elevations for those major differences, and could fit together quite well. Up high in the snowy mountains and cliffs for maps like avalanche and snowbound, sunny warm beaches on the ocean where you can find Relic and the cartographer, and the middle areas where scorching deserts hold sandtrap and blood gulch

you forgot ocean for flat canvas, like awash from halo 2 anniversary

The forgeworld 2.0 map would have plenty of open water. Don’t think that would be necessary.

Looking at the list of maps worth remaking… there’s too many to fit into this lol

Would have to vote on what maps would go into it, mostly based on what themes they fit. For example:

Waterworks is a good pick because it opens up cave/cavern map ideas.

Maybe instead of having multiple forge maps with specific terrain shapes and all that, they could reintroduce a singular Forge World which has some interesting and complex terrain which is hard to create in forge and serves as inspiration for new forgers.

The terrain tools that we saw in Halo 5 should be more expansive with different shapes and sizes which can be adapted into creating OPs mentioned maps but also have the different terrain textures like it does in Halo 5.
The actual map should have multiple skybox tools which can be used to make the terrain fit in place.

This way more objects can be reused for both the player and developer without needing to create dozens of unnecessary maps.

Halo Reach had multiple maps, AND Forge World. That was 8 years ago. We could do wayy more with the new generation today.

could achieve certain aesthetics, like being out in the middle of the ocean with no land in sight, some forgers might want that for their map
