〘Forge〙What I wish to see...

※ TEAM Specific Teleporters
I know some people in the community wanted this option in Halo: Reach, but couldn’t. Although Reach’s Forge mode gave us options to set the color (which didn’t seem to do anything) and to change the “Team’s” label for the teleporters…it still didn’t really do anything besides changing the colors to the corresponding team that was available in that match. This didn’t give us the option to prevent other players or specific players entering that one teleporter.

NOTE: Those highlighted in RED means they are selected by default in-game.
Just like in Halo: Reach’s Forge options for the Teleporters:
Players <True/False>
Light Vehicles <True/False>
Heavy Vehicles <True/False>
Flying Vehicles <True/False>

All those listed above should still remain, however, they could have the added options as follows:
Team Specific
—— Red Team (Humans) <True/False>
—— Blue Team (Flood) <True/False>
—— Green Team <True/False>
—— Orange Team <True/False>
—— Purple Team <True/False>
—— Gold Team <True/False>
—— Brown Team <True/False>
—— Pink Team <True/False>

By default, if you were to spawn any teleporter, it can be accessed by any player in any team. However, with the new options under “Team Specific”, this will grant players to make it so that maybe everyone except the Red Team couldn’t access the Teleporter, or maybe even all but one team… I wish to see an option to have TEAM Specific Teleporters in halo 4.

⇛ Overall, I would like to see accessible (Shield Doors/Teleporters/etc…) objects in Forge to have a “Team Specific” option.

※ ADJUSTABLE Shield Walls
You know in Halo: Reach, the community was able to spawn “Shield Walls/Doors”, either Small or Large, however, there was no real way to make the exact measurements that you wanted, without the shield sticking out of another object if it didn’t fit…Well, what I wish to see is, instead of several Forge objects of walls, why not just settle for 1 object type called “Shield Wall/Door”, then players would use the Dimensions like Radius/Top/Bottom/Length/Height/etc… to create their own wall (to an extent of course).

HINT: You can take the new game type “Dominion”. When a team are pushed into Last Stand, any base a player occupies, cannot pass through the shield doors until a base is captured…or until everyone dies.

Add bots for Gameplay Testing

Can’t read your OP, it’s too complicated.

It’s probably because I took some information straight from the game.

Keep on the comments. I would like to know if these ideas we all want or not…

I never really used forge that much. Just didn’t like it in reach…hope its better in halo 4 though for those who are more creative with that kinda stuff

Most likely not going to happen, you’d get very dumb AIs running your map, think of the Hologram, but you can kill, shoots back, and has a few extra movement animations.

Any ways, I do agree with OPs ideas, I would love to see better/more advance teleporter options. Like maybe give people the option to have the teleporter’s channels be team specific, like

Red Team (Humans) <Alpha>
Blue Team (Flood) <Beta>
Green Team <Alpha>
Orange Team <Alpha>
Purple Team <Alpha>
Gold Team <Alpha>
Brown Team <Alpha>
Pink Team <Random>

It’d make for some fun game play.

Hell, I could set it up 5 two way teleporters, have the two next to the bases teleport to any of the three in the middle, but if a player on Red team goes into a teleporter after a blue, he’ll end up back at his base, or at another teleporter.

While it could prevent spawn killing the problem i see is people running back through to escape deaths constantly.
