You can’t be serious.
Thats it I’m not forging at all. I can’t do any thing with out an undo button. I’ve literally had to restart 3 times in the past hour cause I accidentally deleted stuff. I literally can’t believe the “best” forge doesn’t have an undo button. That’s as bad as no split screen. I’m so disappointed and just when I was actaully setting my mind to get stuff done.

Then don’t delete things so willy-nilly. They have a delay for a reason. And no Forge has had an undo button.
Also, how much are you accidentally deleting so that it’s easier to restart?!

As alrealdy said, no other forge ever had an undo function. But this one has something that’s been around at least since Halo 4: the lock function. If you don’t want to delete something accidentally then lock it. Locking and saving frequently are two habits it pays to cultivate. Best of luck.

I only ever did one build on halo reach I think. I don’t really remember much from then. Undo just seems like an obvious feature to have.
What I keep doing is going to copy but pressing delete instead. I got fed up when stuff was selected I didn’t know about
Undo is something that is tricky to implement, not joking, they’d probably have to redesign a good portion of the engine just to get it working.
As others have mentioned, there is object locking, but also don’t forget to make incremental saves, that way you can go back in steps and cherry-pick the version of your maps that you want to change.
Anoying thing I did as well trying to find undo I ended up pressing save.
The developers have talked about an undo button before I think during reach or 4 (even they don’t have an undo button). It’s too difficult to implement, especially with scripts.

Oh yeah, I had that issue when I started forging. Good thing my builds are usually very simple.
