Will anyone being creating any good forge tutorials for beginners at all?
I have a few map ideas i want to create when forge launches, but im not the best at forge, so would like to know if any one will be kind enough to post good in depth tutorials for new forgers
guess not
They may have one built in?
That’d be useful - I’m thinking of having a stab at Forge this time round.

i hope so, most tutorials for previous forge on youtube are all advanced stuff, nothing for new forgers, its disappointing
On a technical level there hasn’t really been anything to teach. With 5 that may be changing but what won’t is that no turorial is better than jumping in and learning through doing.
Best thing you can do is get familiar with the objects at your disposal and then it really is just positioning/orienting them.
With the new control over the asthetic side of things you will want to pay attention to lighting and materials to balance the composition, lead the player and make things feel “good”.
The real trick is in the design not the tools.
Build up your standards of what works and why by consuming, analyzing, and making.
The more you make the better you will be at it.
Also Im sure there will be videos covering the basics of the new tools by 343 themselves or the community. Either way try not to get too caught up waiting for a magic make thing button/video. Tools are simple, its all about time, iteration, and just playing around with things.
It would be cool if Roland have you a rough overview or something.
I’d imagine that there would be something by someone shortly after launch. Best thing to do is to jump in play with it and then by that time there will probably be some forgers releasing things about specific items or workarounds.
