Forge Tutorials for Infinite

Personally I think H5 has the best forge, for obvious reasons. But I hear many people say it’s complexity makes it harder to Forge/Understand what are you really doing or what the Tool is really capable. So I want to hear your thoughts on Halo Infinite getting In-game and video Tutorials (From Beginner to Advanced) for the New Forge.

Actually that would be a great idea, that would help that people get more involved in creating their own maps.

That would be nice. H5 forge is the first forge I’ve tried and it was quite intimidating. Basic and advanced tutorials would help get over that learning curve, it wouldn’t surprise me if there were many people who tried H5 forge and found it too intimidating so they just dropped it.

Maybe just an in-game manual. Otherwise its just learning as I go.

Tutorial could work if its not taken too far, too far could be something like Halo Wars tutorial voice yapping about button combinations and then telling the player to place a block over another block.

But in that sense I would think manual would cover more and include categories which you want to look at without as much work as making a tutorial.

The basic ones (Put block A and B, movement and rotation of an object, basic navigation) should be short vidtutorials for people that want every piece explained or the manual you mention should be useful, the ingame ones could be how the physics settings work. It could be weird explaining how Physics change and object without seeing it real time. And getting some scripting tutorial and some dank management on advanced tutorials should be nice, like How do I do a Warthog oddball on a 4 team gamemode where you have to pass it like a time bomb (if someone drives it too much it explodes) on a map with changing gravity for the warthog, adding finishing details to the canvas and atmosphere.

They should have an option with the way you want to forge. Classic Forge & Advanced Forge(Halo 5) so it will be much easier for the people who forge better in the older games.

Some of the stuff I’ve seen from H5 forge is amazing, so I tried a couple of times, but couldn’t wrap my head around it. I would love basic tutorials
