So I created an OCTAGON map, real easy, but when we go to play, the players don’t spawn the way they should. I’ve made plenty of Octagon maps before. Anyone else having issues?
Same problem for me feel free to bookmark my map and play with it spawns only work when the other guy is backed up to the wall haven’t tried with more than 2 people yet, been messing around with forge and custom games settings but still can’t figure it out.

Been browsing other threads apparently the system won’t let you spawn when you’re near or within sight of an enemy, that’s why smaller maps and octagons aren’t working that well. I’ll keep my ears to the ground but most likely won’t see a good ol fashion H3 octagon run until 343 introduces a new spawn option or makes changes to the system.
I’m having a similar problem.
the map works fine in custom games, but whenever I try to go into forge to finish it I spawn inside the map, unable to acces the item menus or move at all. Anyone know how to fix this -Yoink-. Stupid 343 -Yoinking!- up everything

You me and a -Yoink- ton of people are dealing with this right now.
They may never fix it is the scary thing…
I’m dealing with the same problem; are there specific settings you need to tweak to cause a player to respawn? I made a map; and when I go into it in a Custom Game mode and die, the camera just looks at the dead body, and I never respawns.
I had this same issue… While this may be a bug, I did find an easier fix than the teleport fix. If you face the REspawn at each wall and make sure they point away then you will respawn right away… The down side is you will spawn facing backwards… It actually makes it a bit more fun because you have to spin and get your barrings… One on one is quite the challenge! Hope this helps.
