So i created a map on alpine with all new spawns that works perfectly in custom games but when i try to forge it i spawn below ground as if i fell through. i am fairly certain the cause is that i have no respawn points on the map and for some reason monitors spawn on respawn points instead of start spawns at the beginning. Even so it should spawn me at a random point in the map like it did when i died forging not below ground unable to move or even die.
Yup, same happened to me. After 3 hours of work. Completely locked out of my map. Hopefully they fix this soon and we can re-access our levels 
Spent 3 1/2 hours building a Breakout arena map for me and my buddies to play tonight and I load it back up to put some scripting and ect. in it to finish it and I spawn outside the map!!! I can’t do jack and I’m pretty pissed. All yesterday Forge was crashing when my friends were in Forge with me and now I’m locked out of my map to seal the deal??? Why even mess with Forge if it is just going to crash or lock me out of my maps…?
Have some one else join the game with you. Hopefully they spawn above ground. I had this problem and I believe I know the reason. With the new selecting multiple items feature, selecting multiple items moves them in regards to each other. Some of the spawns may have fallen underneath the map if you have any. Having someone else join may have them in a position where they can select all spawn points and delete them all. This is how I fixed it. Hope this helps!
Having the same glitch right now Q.Q was working on a strongholds map now all i get is this screen and i can’t do anything apart from bring up the leaderboard or pause
I just posted a forum explaining exactly what happened to you all. THEY NEED TO FIX THIS!
yeah i have 3 octagon maps with dozens of different types of spawns in them, everything works fine on my own but whenever someone else joins neither of us can respawn anywhere – once we die we just stay in death screen and can’t respawn
I am having the same problem as soon as I spawn in I can’t access the map, all I can do it press the start and back button
Go HERE, people. The issue is because you spawn into Forge initially on Respawn Points, NOT Initial Spawn Points. If you didn’t place any Respawn points, or leave any behind from before, then you’re SOL.
You CAN get this issue if you place, say, a Blue Team respawn point, and try to start Forge as Red Team. You’ll get the same problem. But if you leave, and start Forge as Blue Team, you’ll spawn in fine. If any of you are lucky enough to have placed Team-oriented Respawn Points, you can still get in without Neutral Respawn Points.
