Hey guys! I found this out a while back and haven’t seen anything posted about it, so figured I’d post a tutorial.
It’s extremely simple and gives a very convincing snow effect, it works on ANY map.
1 - Go to “Map Options”
2 - Set Fog Type to “Starry Fields”
3 - Primary Color to “White”
4 - Secondary Color to “White”
5 - Set Scale to ~8.50
6 - Thickness to ~8.00
7 - Brightness to ~9.50
8 - Turn ON “Wind Override”
9 - Adjust the Y-Axis to anything negative
10 - Adjust X & Z Axis to your liking
Of course, change any of the values of “Scale”, “Thickness”, & “Brightness” to get whichever effect you would like. I’ve found that a higher scale, and wind BARELY blowing on Y-Axis so it doesn’t seem to heavy and like it’s just snow flurries.

No problem! I know the feeling, so many times I’ll see a “How-To” thread, which is just a link to a YouTube video, seems to be fishing for views. I did link a video, but just to show the effect for anyone interested.
Wish people would “textualize” their “How-To” videos for the people who can’t view the video at that moment.

It looks AMAZING on “Recurve” also, not sure why it wasn’t included instead of the purple/pink fog.
It gives a nice “Sidewinder/Avalanche” snow effect, and cost 0 budget, so it’s great! Takes less than a minute to set up also.
I have it saved, not sure if you could download the map by adding me, not really sure how that works. But it’s called “Snow” and is the effect on “Antifreeze”, if you inspect the “Map Settings” though; there’s some glitch that makes it default “Scale”, “Brightness”, & “Thickness” to 0.10
==EDIT
And to “Hotrod192”, that’s great! Glad you found it useful, one drawback, which won’t affect you; is that it still “snows” inside of buildings, won’t be a problem with a complete outdoor map.

I should be able to find a way but thanks for the heads up
