In Halo reach there was a forge playlist where the most beautiful user’s maps was played in matchmaking…
It was funny!.. so, why didn’t it again? not also… it would be nice if this playlist is also a contest: the most played maps will be added in team slayer!
It’s a good idea, but 343 has to do a lot of internal testing before they put even a single user created map in an online playlist. For example, often times spawn systems in the Forge maps users create are subtly flawed and a team that knows what they’re doing can take advantage of and boost stats and commendations, farm kills and XP, and so on.
I’m not sure they have the resources for it with all that’s going on (monthly content drops, the new Pro League, etc.)
