Halo 5’s forge pieces are very smooth, however we also need rough pieces for “Infection forging”, aka ruins. We also need easier methods of making gametypes. Everything taken out should also be put in. Everyone should have a good time forging, just like Halo 3 and Halo: Reach…

You know… I have an idea that they should released Forge separately as its own Xbox One App. It would include everything listed above plus more and you can go in there, create your levels and then export them to Halo 5’s file share. That way it’s self contained, it can get updated with new features and pieces and it can probably carry over and expand with Halo 6.
I agree. Forge was best in Halo 3 IMO. Halo 4s was good too but I didn’t like it in Reach
I didn’t like halo 4 forge due to the objects being too clunky and the maps were too small. Halo anniversary fixed that and then some. Halo 5 should be bigger and better and should do more with scripting and object placement. Halo reach was good and h2 anniversary was excellent. Now all, it needs is Xbox one boost besides some aspects from halo 2

Reach I could understand, but 3? Really?! You had to spend 20 minutes lining up one block, and the physics was awful!

That’s a really cool idea with having the force as a self-contained thing. I don’t know how well it would go over initially I like it though!

This would be a great idea. So the H5 download wouldn’t be as big, would allow for a better H5 and forge alike.Include the large amounts of stuff we got with the H2A forge, and add items from previous games, so it could be a centralized hub for all forgers from all the Halo games.

You only had to spend 20 minutes lining up one block if you were just starting out or not very good at it. The physics were great, especially if you knew how to manipulate them, and all it really needed was a “phased” option. Halo 3’s Forge had novelty which wore off by Reach, but more importantly, it was fun, unlike its static, dead successors. The scenery objects, unique pieces, and cool block textures helped as well.
