Just FYI , Forge mode needs Gold membership . Feel free to rage ( with me ) . Have a good day.
Or join the rest of us in getting Gold.
That is unforgivable.
It does? I thought that it would only require Internet access, and would be accessible with a Silver account. You aren’t exactly required to play with other players. I’m curious, now, to know if this is actually the case.
Hmm, maybe that means the Forge inventory could be updated to add more objects. Just speculation.
Maybe u should join the rest of us and get gold.
Who plays halo 5 without gold?
Wait, so you cant play it offline?
Well I mean this game doesn’t have split-screen and forge made maps wouldn’t be fun to play on by yourself.
im just kidding I have GoldWhat!?!? Why is this i demand an answer!
Gold for multiplayer yes of bloody course but for Forge as well is just 343 and MS being -Yoinks!-. Of course most of us have gold but that’s not at all what some of us are moaning about. Truth is I’d buy this mode for offline mode to create and play in my own creations but there’s not even an option to purchase this
Expected as much and it’s up to MS and 343 how they do it but this sort of thing in the long run only hurts them. Foolish move

There are plenty of people that play solo Forge and with the expanded toolset available in Halo5 Forge it’s a massive two fingers up to those. I can play right now because I have gold but when there’s no guarantee I’ll always be able to access my creations, I wont bother. Halo campaign and multi only then which is fine but 343 have massively disappointed with this
To be honest, I’m one of those people that enjoy playing a game offline and alone, believe it or not. The fact that Forge Requires XBL to play is something that bothered me from the beginning, but everyone would rather bash on me.
What would you do in Forge without gold? Are you going to make a map and then run around it by yourself all day? All of the multiplayer modes require gold to play, there’s no reason to make this any different.

I agree. I don’t think it’s fair that people would bash you for that, some times people just don’t have the ability to pay to play, especially in these tough times

You see, this is where 343 fails, and why most games will fail.
Online restricted modes are garbage.
In past Halo games (Regardless of whether or not we used split-scree) we were able to play on Forge, Custom Games and Theater. We could still roam around maps as our own Spartans, we could still play maps we made. It was fun for offline players. Online only games are going to be the death of gaming. It’s like you don’t even own the game. I wouldn’t expect you to understand, but it’s just an opinion.

I like running around a map on my own, it’s nice to admire the creativity put into them and not have to kill someone well I’m doing it.
Dang it I was planning on playing forge on a trip with no internet

I would never bash on you. I understand. Forge can be a form of art, a canvas where one can create, and it would be nice to be able to Forge offline if one desired to.

Guess not, seems like 343i killed forge.
