I know the forge requires gold, i want to know who is pissed off with this because they cant play forge or matchmaking because they dont have gold
Not mad, just very disappointed.
Why do we have to buy everything with req packs!?

Oh im guessing you dont have gold then
something tells me if you can afford a xbox one and Halo 5 then you should probably be able to afford paying $5 a month for xbox live.
Why are you looking for people who are pissed off? Like we don’t already have enough pissed off players on the forums already…

I just want to see if anyone is mad you need gold for forge because my friend is pissed because of it
Forgw being on multiplayer really grinds my gears, even though I have gold. Every game requiring internet means that you can have lag in forge games even when playing solo, and being kicked out of a game for inactivity in forge is ridiculous. I’ve already lost a few maps because I’d been kicked out of a game while I had it paused.
My gripe is that it requires you to be online.
My Internet is down at the house, and due to the time of year, it will probably be down over chrtistmas at this rate.
I thought I’d be alright and just be forging in my time off, but ooooooh nooooooo! haha
For all the people saying that Gold is cheap, or that everyone has an Internet connection- you obviously don’t realise that forge should not need online, it’s a local thing. Why can’t you play it offline? Imagine if you are forging away at a map and you suddenly lose connection? Nope that’s it can’t play.
Why do you think everyone was against Xbox ones DRM?

Children.
Children who’s parents barely paid for the console and just want their kids to shut up about having one. I didn’t play a Halo game online for the first time until I was 18.

This
The majority of “people” saying gold is cheap are the ones who have it paid for by their parents.
Having to be online to use Forge is silly. It needs fixing. No need to say anymore or start flaming.
It’s cheap enough for a 12month man jesus christ.

Whether it’s cheap is subjective, if you even know what that means.
Why should we pay a fee, to play content that has been traditionally offline? You can not argue in anyway in support of this move by 343. Yes I have gold, but I shouldn’t need it to play local content I already own.
Needing gold for Forge is another one of 343’s offensive decision making.
But if I may play devil’s advocate here; Halo 5 has no splitscreen functionality. No LAN. I’m curious to know why somebody would have Halo 5 and not have gold.

And waste most of their money on gaming. The issue is that custom games and forge is something the individual player should have since it doesn’t require the use of other players to explore. Its now mandatory to have Xbox live because the features are online only and its bs that we have less options now and people are okay with that.

They wouldn’t.
