Forge Request for Hog Wild Update:

Water FX Emitters

I think some flowing water type FX Emitters would be so cool. You could put a small one in the open end of a pipe for a “burst pipe” in the boiler room on your sweet Infection map.
And Splashes would be cool for scripting into the watery areas of your Sweet HOG RACE Map!


Speaking of Watery Areas…


I’ve always wished we could have a handful of different sized sheets of ANIMATED WATER.

I know Tom French has mentioned that the Forge Team look to what the community is using hacks and workarounds to achieve, and they make new tools with each update so that the community doesn’t need workarounds.

Well, placeable water sheets would be a great example of that philosophy. Then I could make a pond, or a toxic waste swamp, but with a real water surface, instead of the hack of decals and lights. And since they wouldn’t rely on the existing forge map’s water, you could place water in your map forged on Parallax.

And if they came in small sizes, you could flip them vertically, bury them into a doorway, and voila: Sweet Teleporter Entrance!

What do you think?

There is barely any water physics in the campaign so I doubt they would include it into forge now lol.

They should add a drivable pelican, even tho you can’t drive one in MP it would be cool to create maps with you can RP that you and your friends are dropping off marines or other Spartans.

This is the one thing that I want in Forge.
The main problem that was stated before was that it would cause a huge drop in FPS that have water FX and that was the reason they weren’t being added.

If Alpine can have an ocean of the stuff, I should be able to put down a 48X48 patch of it on parallax…without framerate drop.

That’s kinda of a total load of bull, 343i used similar excuses for not including split-screen, or infection/forge at launch, and those “excuses” turned out to be complete lies. As for the Waterfall/splash idea, I really like it and would LOVE water in Forge, we have land so why not water? As for me, I just some nice looking pre-made buildlings in forge, nothing is more fun than meshing a whole bunch of buildings together and accidentally making a maze.
