Forge REQ Weapon Clip Size Glitch

Changing some of the REQ weapons’ clip sizes to a different number doesn’t actually do any kind of affect.

For example, if I change the Song Of Peace’s clip size to 0, then pick the weapon up, it won’t have 0 spare clips, it’ll have the default REQ weapon spare clip amount instead.

Does it do this on the default spawn-in of the weapon or just on Weapon Pads? Have you tried both ways?

Never tried the Weapon Pads, but I imagine the same thing would happen.

I only noticed it because I’m making an Infection map, and having Song Of Peaces and now Didact’s Signets with 4 spare clips is no bueno.

I know it’s not feasible, but you could always stack 4 of the same weapon on top of each other so that if someone picks up one it’ll also pick up the remaining 3 for ammo. I know it could be slightly abused to allow 1 to be picked up and thrust back at the right time to leave 1 or 2 on the ground still for someone else, but that’s just a quick bs solution.

Try using the weapon pads instead, it should work.

Okay, just tried it and it does work. Slightly annoying that I’d have to do that, as Weapon Pads scattered throughout an Infection map is not the most ideal.

Yeah :frowning: Maybe they will fix it in a future update. Too many pads cause the FX rate to drop so keep an eye on that as well.
