How can I move objects slowly and precise? You used to be able by holding down the Left Stick.
-
Can you place weapons down like you did in the previous games without the use of ordinance?
-
Can ordinance drops be set so that there isn’t an Icon on it showing its location and what weapon it holds?
I’m not sure on any of these, but some of my thoughts:
-
I haven’t tried it at all, so I’m not sure if maybe there is a different button. I know magnets exist now to help snap things together (although, you might not want something snapped)
-
Yes, You can. At least, there are options for weapons.
-
I believe this would be custom game options, which there is a huge lack of.
Also what is the difference between “gravity volume” and “Gravity volume inv”?
Not sure…invisible maybe (you can either see the borders or you can’t)…I’m not really sure though. I haven’t played with forge enough yet to know what everything is, I’ve just played with it enough to know what is missing from Reach
invisible means the borders are not visible in an actual game.
-
I can’t give you an answer to this since I’m wondering the same thing.
-
I’m pretty sure you can use static timers. If not just equip them with the Ordinance system. I think you can make ordinance come in one place with one set weapon. I haven’t played around with Ordinance much yet.
-
I would guess. Hide the waypoint and stuff, probably. I really haven’t used Forge Ordinance much.
Another question: Gravity volume inv means you can’t see the borders in a game. The other ones have it so you can see the gravity boundries.

Under tools (B menu) there is the option to move and rotate the object by absolute coordinates, it works perfectly. You can also turn on magnets which allow objects to snap to other object.

no
-
yes but the weapons dissapear in 12 seconds, kevin franklin the lead MP designer has said this is to put more emphasize on ordinance drops.
-
nope, you can’t remove the marker.
A lot of time magnets don’t fully stick correctly. Editing coordinates for everything can get old very quickly.
