Forge questions

Been forging away quite happily. It really has come a long way. Haven’t been able to find a few items/features, just hoped if missed something, perhaps someone could clarify.

Can’t find trait zones or gravity volumes

cant restart round while in forge

no one way shields, all shields are breakable

Option to change “spawn at start”

There’s a few others but If these are indeed missing then I assume the same for the rest. Couple of things missing but otherwise this is the best forge yet.

also was wondering how hard people have pushed the budgets? Specifically the lighting?

I have a quetion, how do i search for people created maps AND game modes like halo 4? i dont see any opcion that állows me TO SEARCH The most popular etc etc…

That doesn’t exist in Halo 5 yet, you have a basic file share which requires you to have people following you to be able to see their work.

So u think that 343 will put an opcion later where u can search?

Yeah it’ll be upgraded as time goes on with future updates

  1. I’m pretty sure these aren’t in forge yet.
  2. Never used that option in past forges because I never made round based maps. Ironically, the map I’m working on now has rounds.
  3. Hopefully they’ll be added later, as well as the gravity hammer and other things.
  4. It’s not there explicitly, even though it should. I found a work around though. If you set the despawn timer to a time less than the time it takes for the opening cinematic to play, then give the object a respawn timer later in the match, again consider the cinematics time, you can emulate this option. No scripting needed by the way. This is only a work around and the “spawn at start” option needs to be added 343.
  5. The map I’m working on has its highest budget meter is at about 600 of the total objects you can used. After that its FX at 41% then Lighting at 32%. The others are almost insignificant. The maps almost done, trying to get spawns to work correctly with the teleporting after a certain time in the match (had a problem with number 4 on this list), so these won’t change much.

So there is absolutely no way to make a one way shield? I’m working on a map that I think they only way to go about this is a one way shield.
