Ok so i love forge, but 1 problem with forge that is why is it online and why do you need gold, like im guarnteed there are some people that dont have gold but have halo 5 and would love to play forge but cant because they dont have gold. I think you should be able to play it without internet connection or gold. Like who here doesnt have gold and want to play forge but cant due to not having gold.

Not sure why they require Gold, but Forge uses dedicated servers to do a lot of the processing required and therefore must be online. It actually uses up a tremendous amount of data with some users reporting 250mb per hour of forging. A lot of people are asking for offline forge, but I think that there’s no chance of them being able to do it. The Xbox One console isn’t powerful enough to do all those things at once.

I never thought of it that way and I thank you for opening my eyes. That makes a lot of sense.
Hi, there is a huge problem in forge, just like in halo 3, you can be the official autor of any map you download. You just have to save it in forge as a new file and you become the autor of it.
So, go spend 3 days on map, and everything I have to is downloading your map, saving it in forge and I become the official autor of it. (You can try with one of your friends map)
Please, share this so maybe 343 industries can see this and fix it.
