Forge: Pre-Selection 3D Holographic Image

Can we please get a Pre-Selection 3D Holographic Image that way we can see the item we’re scrolling over in forge instead of “Guessing and Checking” with every single thing in the list? I know it says the dimensions but for abstract/obscure items like polls, vinyls and bridges I’d really like to see it before I have to select it, then delete it, then re-open the forge items and start over until I find the right one. It would dramatically speed up the cartographing process.

Like if you Agree please so 343 can see this!

I agree. This would be very helpful.

Also a "Sell <?> amt of Reqs because I have like 80 shotguns I’m not gonna use.

This is a actually a good idea. Kind of like the hovering items in the inventory in Skyrim

Funny I made a similar thread which never got any views lol but yes this would help in terms of trying to figure out what pieces are what instead of searching through the whole list hoping you have what you are looking for.

I wouldn’t mind it

People tend to view the complains more so then idea XD they could even just make a phone app for it… wait I could make a phone app… just make life that much easier

Dear god that is a good idea, I’m so sick of having to guess by placing half a dozen objects to find what I want because I can’t memorize the damn dimensions. x__x This is the kind of thing that should have been in from the start, hopefully this gets some attention. You could take it one step further and allow you to move around the phantom piece and then once you press A it just appears right where you wanted it so you could kind of preview the block before you spawn it in.

Damn dude… we need this in our life preview placement would help soooooooo much, cant even express how much!

While it’s indeed a great idea, it shouldn’t be necessary in the long run. Slowly but surely, you will being to memorize every piece, just as in previous editions of Forge. You will eventually visualize what you will place, how you will place it, and where you’ll grab it from, all with ease. Practice makes perfect, and with this Forge it is ever so true.

Might be less intimidating for new forgers I vote yes!
