Was wondering if anyone else has been having issue with frame rate in the forge playlist. Whenever I play in the playlist my frame rate seems to drop to 15-20 max and in the kill cams it drops to under 10. Just wondering if it has to due with the playlist itself or maybe just connection problems.
It’s the maps. In forge you aren’t really making your own map but adding in items to the existing map to play differently. The more items on your map the lower the frame rate is.
You really notice it if you are playing with guests.
I Drop in killcams but in everything else I’m at a steady 30
Sometimes they do drop to the 23s but the killcams have a terrible framerate lag.
Framerate is almost unplayable with guests. Don’t bother playing the forge playlist with guests. Even without them it isn’t perfect. 343 Needs to fix framerate issues. I’ve never had problems like this in any other halo game. Reach had forge maps that ran smoothly. H4 just has awful framerate lag

It really is awful. A lot of the bigger maps are almost unplayable, and the forge maps aren’t much better.
I’ve had framerate problems on default maps. Vortex is pretty bad at times.
You can have more than 1 local player in the forge test playlist? Thanks for the heads up. 
I have no problems playing the maps at all in any situation with no splitscreen. I play on an Xbox 360 S, my friend, on the older hand has an other model Xbox 360 and experiences framerate lag.
I think the issues have to do with what console you’re playing it on since the new model has slightly better hardware.

You can, but it’s not very fun because of the framerate lag. I mainly play with a friend on the same xbox, and was really looking forward to this, but the lag is too bad to play with someone else
It’s not just the forge playlist that has lag. Comlex and some of the DLC maps are unplayable in splitscreen. It really is sad becuase Halo has always been a game that I have played splitscreen with my brothers, and Halo 4 was released in an unfinished state making splitscreen suck real bad.

Oh trust me I know… I’m one of the CCs that worked on this playlist and a vet forger. Just needed confirmation so I can report back to the MM Team.
Frame rate problems from default big maps are nothing to Forge frame rate problems. Something is really messed up, making split screen unplayable.
